The Russian Olive Series began when I bought a great piece of Olive wood in the hopes of making a personal desk. But when it came time to choose an epoxy coloring, I couldn’t just pick one, so I cut it into a series of smaller pieces for cheeseboards. I love these boards mostly for that thin, almost-maple color at the edge of most of them. It enhances the wood’s deep color while highlighting its live edge.
